Carnaval 2025

Carnaval is East Somerville's annual festival on Broadway as a part of the Somerville Arts Council SomerStreets series. There is live music, performance art, food, and activities for all ages. This year it will be on Sunday, June 1st, 2:00-6:00 pm with a weather date of Sunday, June 8th.

About Carnaval - Carnaval is a celebration of culture through music, dance and food. Broadway restaurants set up on the street including piña coladas in pineapples, fresh coconuts, tacos, and so much more. There is an artisan market and community organizations to engage with. Activities for all ages include face painting and a dunk tank. This event attracts around 8,000 people to Broadway.
