In the second workshop of the series, Broadway business owners heard from KivaBoston Private, and Acción about crowdfunding, micro loans, and bank loans available to small businesses. Our colleagues gave an informative overview of cash flow, credit, and how to gain access to capital in order to grow your business.

 

Businesses Present: Shaddai Boutique, Los Paisanos, Tikal Uniform, Rapid Retial Systems, and Ola Café.  

 

Jos­e Luis Rojas of Boston Private discussed the landscape of access to capital, giving an overview of loan providers and loan products for different needs. Andrea Ierace from Acción presented the basic principles of cash flow and credit. Lastly, Adam Grenier of Kiva introduced the possibilities of crowdfunding through Kiva's online network of global lenders.
